“Due to my age (55y) I approached the course with a little apprehension, but the teachers’ competence and the colleagues’ sympathy made me feel very comfortable and, at the end, it was an extremely positive experience”
“The program was very well organized, I feel I made a lot of progress in a productive yet welcoming atmosphere. I have met some extra nice people, and the instructors were real professionals who knew how to lead and instruct their classes. I am very happy and grateful for this opportunity”
“Reading Middle Egyptian Hieratic course has been a wonderful experience not only in terms of learning new knowlegdes about Ancient Egypt (the level was really appropiate) but also because it has been a great chance to meet people who share the same passion and I hope that I will meet them again around the Egyptological world”
Luisa María García González
“The summer school at the University of Pisa has been an intense and successful week of learning, which has allowed us to gain a solid knowledge of the basic signs and particularities of the hieratic script, giving us a good methodology to continue our studies autonomously. Overall an extremely positive and productive experience!”
