Conference Announcement and Call for Papers

The PIPE Project announces the international conference “Embedded in Clay: Identity and Performance in Figurines and Ceramic Objects from Ancient Societies”, and invites interested researchers to submit papers for presentation. The conference will be held at the University of Pisa from 4 to 6 February 2025, and will bring together diverse methodological approaches used to understanding how identity and performance are expressed in ancient clay artefacts.

Submission deadline for abstracts: 30 September 2024
